WID 7.0-Interface Maps- Custom Maps

How do we handle the Exception in the Custom Map. I don’t see any kind of fault in custom map for Custom Map for Interface Maps to handle any Exception and pass it to caller.

The problem is that if the data is invalid say instead of Integer we get alphanumeric due to input had a issue.

And due incorrect dat (say Alphanumeric instead if Inetger ) if such feilds are coming the system is exiting giving Number format into System Out.

I am not sure how do we pass the and handle the exception in (custom Maps of Inetrface Maps)

In such scenario the caller should get the exception and proceed with next maps indiating the failure into logs.

The thumb rule is bad should not stop my job (by exiting the job) instead we are ok to put that into log and mark that record as failure and proceed further.

Please let us know your thoughts.
