There are several client connections using a svrconn channel ABC.CHL at our side. When displaying the channel status, I found that apart from some running status instance, there are few with the BINDING status. The complete details of this status is given below.
I have also observed that binding status is for all the channel having one perticular IP address in conname.
Display chstatus(ABC.CHL) all
AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(ABC.CHL) CHLTYPE(SVRCONN)
BUFSRCVD(1) BUFSSENT(1)
BYTSRCVD(156) BYTSSENT(156)
CHSTADA(2011-04-29) CHSTATI(22.57.32)
COMPHDR(NONE,NONE) COMPMSG(NONE,NONE)
COMPRATE(0,0) COMPTIME(0,0)
CONNAME(100.200.300.400) CURRENT
EXITTIME(0,0) HBINT(300)
JOBNAME(00000BF30028EEEE) LOCLADDR
LSTMSGDA( ) LSTMSGTI( )
MCASTAT(RUNNING) MCAUSER( )
MONCHL(OFF) MSGS(0)
RAPPLTAG( ) RQMNAME( )
SSLCERTI( ) SSLKEYDA( )
SSLKEYTI( ) SSLPEER( )
SSLRKEYS(0) STATUS(BINDING)
STOPREQ(NO) SUBSTATE(RECEIVE)
XMITQ( )
has anybody faced this kind of issue earlier or having any idea, please share with me.
Thanks in advance.. |

The error log on the qmgr or on the client?
You installed a full client on the client machine, yes? And there are no messages on the mq error logs on the client machine?
And no error messages from the client applications? |

sorry for the confusion.
There is no error message at the server side.
At client side, we have the client application's error messages which says that the it's unable to put messages on the queue.
The whole of the setup was working fine earlier, the issue started now for which I am trying to find out the cause.
I am unable to find in which scenarios the SVRCONN channel can go into the BINDING state with MCASTAT(RUNNING), this is the first time I am facing this kind of issue.
Please advise... |

So, the application successfully connected to the qmgr, yes?
But fails to put a message? Why can't it? What reason-code was returned to the application? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
