As some of you know, I have in fact received a mug before. Two, in fact. I broke the first one, then someone swiped the second one.
Now a dilemma: How can I justify asking for yet another mug which will deny a donation to Doctors Without Frontiers?
Problem solved, guilt assuaged: I've just donated a nice little sum to Doctors Without Frontiers. They get a little something and I get a mug.
I am going to wear this mug on a string around my neck.
Thank you, moderators, for this lovely acknowledgement. |

I think this is an excellent idea and would like to do the same - especially as I'm based at two sites during the week
And thanks for the mug - I would like to thank my agent, my family, especially my mother without whom I wouldn't be here, and most especially Mr. M. Q. Series- to whom I owe so much (starts to cry) |

what a nice gesture , you are truly a well deserving of a , wishing there were more like you on our little earth.
I should please add that the forums are also making a 10x10x10 = $1000 donation as had been announced earlier. A list of names has been pulled and being cleaned up, the donation will be made under these members name and published some time next week. |

Thanks for picking me!
PLEASE...donation to the DOCs!!! I'll go click it.
Remember when software vendors use to give all the freebies? Logos on shirts, pens, knives (probably rethink that these days), etc.

Happy Birthday MQSeries.net!
I'm ashamed to say that I've been dabbling on the dark side (TIBCO) for my current client, so haven't been posting as much lately on WMB...but I'm still working with WMQ, so I guess I won't be totally shunned.
Medecins Sans Frontieres is a very worthwhile cause - Well Done!
Regards,
Nick. |

Well, this certainly is a nice surprise! I've never gotten a mug before!
I've gone the SAFraser route, and Doctors Without Borders are now a tad richer for it. Snailmail address will be promptly sent to moderator.
Respect to all the brave souls who contribute to this forum, making it the finest in its field. This place hosts the best people on the internet, and I'm happy (if somewhat unworthy) to be counted among them.
p.s I second peter's "vote post usefulness" pitch. It's a great idea. |

Mixing prizes and charity requests seems a bit strange, I keep those two areas separate. I recently sponsored a colleague in the London Marathon and donated to the Japanese Earthquake appeal. Both of which donations were matched by my employer, and one had a tax rebate added. |

I am surprised... Thanks! I'd love a mug. You can trust me to make my own donation but the mug seems like a collector's item
I'd love to see a list of the most useful postings too if possible. |
