As far as I am aware MQ Explorer uses a 'pure' java client...

Or to write your applications to only use .NET managed connections or the WCF bridge and thus can package your apps with only the dll that is used by the managed connection (amqmnet.dll or whatever it is), and thus the app itself doesn't really require a client install.
