I am downloading Eclipse and MQ Explorer from here:

Computer that these components will be installed on will need to access MQ Server on another PC via MQ Explorer and programmatically via .Net API.

Am I correct in the assumption that MQ Explorer will contain .Net MQ Client and I don't have to install it as a separate package?[/url]

As far as I am aware MQ Explorer uses a 'pure' java client...

...awaiting a passing IBMer whom I'm sure will put me right if not

I don't see that quote on the MS0T support pac page. I do see this:

This would indicate to me that it doesn't require the client code & hence doesn't install it.

There's a simple way to find out; install the MS0T pac then try and connect a .NET application. Let us know what happens.

You will need the full MQ client install as well.

Or to write your applications to only use .NET managed connections or the WCF bridge and thus can package your apps with only the dll that is used by the managed connection (amqmnet.dll or whatever it is), and thus the app itself doesn't really require a client install.
