I am new to MB,want to know If QMGR name is not given for output node properties then where the message will sit??
Is the QMGR name mandatory for output node?? |

this all are the basic question, you need to first read the basic of WMB and check in infocenter.
However if there is no QMgr name given in MQOutput node , message will go to Broker Queue manger. _________________ Regards,

Though this is a basic WMQ question rather than a WMB one.

Pedantically the message goes to the broker queue manager even if you do specify a queue manager name in this node. I mention this to forstall the next obvious question of "I specified a queue manager name in the MQOutput node and my flow abends with "Remote queue manager error". Why is this?"

Try creating a xmit queue with the same name as the remote queue manager.
This is simply MQ, if you do an MQOPEN with a different queue manager name than the one you are connected to, MQ opens the xmit queue to that QM in order to send the message.
Broker only connects to one queue manager. Read up on how MQOPEN works. |
