Hi all,

In the ESQL I have written

set outputRoot.xml.msg.num=10

create firstchild of outputRoot.xml.msg NAME 'num' VALUE '10';

Here the above statements are displaying the same ouput.

Can any one please tell the difference between the above two statements.............

One is an ESQL Set statement, the other is an ESQL CREATE statement.

They have different syntaxes, as described in the documentation.

You need to be more careful with your typing. I'm sure you meant to write

set outputRoot.xmlnsc.msg.num=10
