AFAIK you have to register again. A username is for life, not just for Xmas.
The Administrator may have a different view.

Wow! Well, I'm ok with registering again. But I want to use the same email. And I'm unable to do so. |

I did wonder if that would happen. I'll pass your request to the relevant authorities to see what (if anything) can be done.
I suspect we're bound by the limitations of the forum software but I'm only suspecting.
