Could you help me in the same issue.
My NLS_CHARACTERSET=UTF8,
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET=AL16UTF16.
I call a stored procedure which returns a CLOB

The broker doesn't support the Oracle NCHAR datatypes, and the stored procedure doesn't seem to use them, so NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET is not relevant.

If it's really the same issue, check the ODBC datasource definition and variable NLS_LANG in the broker environment.

I'd like to put it into an XMLNSC domain but insted of my accentuated character I get mismatch character:
Quote:
<KEP_NEV>"A" kategóriás hajóvezető</KEP_NEV>

=>
Quote:
<KEP_NEV>"A" kategĂÆ’ÂłriĂÆ’¡s hajĂÆ’ÂłvezetĂ…‘</KEP_NEV>

More details would help here. There seem to be multiple issues, aside from the improper conversion(s). If the returned string contains XML elements that need parsing, use the CREATE statement to parse them.

Thank you very much, rekarm01.
Fortunately I solved my problem with the character conversation, but the last part of your post helped me a lot because the signs '<' and '>' in the XML made me a little headack.
This is my first message flow and I still don't know much about it not to mention the little delicacies.
