hi, guys
I found that it takes so long for xms.net api to throw the mq 2009 exception after the system recover from standby status, maybe 5 or 6 minutes, and the message consumer can not receive any message during these 5 or 6 minutes.
How can I gets the 2009 exception immediately so I can reconnect the mq server in this situation?
Ps: If I disconnect the network cable, i get the 2009 exception immediately.
Call stack is:
IBM.XMS.WMQ.WmqMessageConsumer.GetAMessage(Int64 timeOut)
IBM.XMS.WMQ.WmqMessageConsumer.ReceiveAsync(Int64 timeout)
IBM.XMS.WMQ.WmqAsynchronous.Run()
Linked Exception : CompCode: 2, Reason: 2009
I am using:
xms 4 .net, version 1.2.6
windows xp sp3

You might want to look at the defaults of the tcp/ip stack. This way a failure can be detected faster...

Only if the tcp/ip stack throws it immediately
