As part of migration, we are migrating MB from 5 to 6.1 and MQ from 5.3 to MQ 7.0 .
Currently we have workflow version 3.6.0 and Websphere 5.3
I am new to the workflow.
I think we are running 32bit workflow.
1)What would be best steps to migrate this to 64bit workflow and mq 7.0 ?
2) Migration plan for MQ is take the backup of qmgrs running. Do the new mq 7.0 install and import the qmgrs. Will this work with workflow?
3) Does 32bit workflow work with mq 7.0 ?

Hi,
from the MQWF readme:
Quote: |
Starting with IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow 3.6 SP7,
IBM WebSphere MQ Version 7 can be used on distributed platforms.
If you want to use IBM WebSphere MQ Version 7, ensure that IBM WebSphere MQ V7.0.0.1
is installed. Otherwise you will receive error API RC=14 and in the trace you
will see JMSCC0005: The specified value '-1' is not allowed for 'JMSPriority'.
|
I recommend to upgrade MQWF to the latest available service Pack (SP8).
With respect to 2): yes, this should work. |
