I am working with Z/os console monitoring..
Planning to make my career as a MQ admin.
Could you please guide me with the details like:
Books
Skillset need to be developed
Certifications

Pratapreddy, look for the 'Library' link up there in the page. there you will find all the required books/documents. Look for WMQ v6 Redbook. Read and understand it.
Have MQ installed on your machine so that you can experiment and try things as and when required.
Keep refering v6 and v7 infocenter.
And keep visiting this site. you will learn a lot here. (I do)

Get trained, too. IBM offers WM100 A Technical Introduction to WMQ, and WM300 WebSphere MQ System Administration on z/OS. Thes classes will gove you the system admin skills you seek.
