Hi,
I'm having a slight issue with the EmailOutput Node in WMB6.1...
I have set no properties for the node itself, rather, I am setting them in a JavaCompute Node immediately prior to it. This works, I get my email, with correct subject, recipients etc. However, I also seem to get an exception which is resulting in a fail right back to the message flows input node which is then caught there.
The exception is a 4455 - "'No recipient email addresses found"!
How can that be when the email is successfully sent? It's almost as if the flow is sending the message twice, once using the properties set in the JavaCompute Node and then again using the properties of the EmailOutput Node...
What have I done wrong? Any ideas? I'm flumoxed!
Cheers
-Al. |

Perhaps the addresses are in the CC or BCC sections rather than in the TO: part.? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

No, the 'TO:' part is definitely populated by the JavaCompute Node - born out by the fact that I do actually receive the emails with a 'TO' address... That's the odd thing, I do receive the emails yet still get an exception too |

Hmmm. My next step would probably to put a trace node inbetween the JCN & the EmailNode.
Then I'd import the sample flow and modify it with a trace node just before the EmailNode and compare the differences. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

I'd check that you aren't managing to call propagate() twice from your JCN. |

No, definitely not. I've compared my flow with one that works and can see no difference. I am noticing that the failure is sporadic and am beginning to suspect that something else in the flow may be causing a corruption... so sometimes it works as expected and sometimes it doesn't. Weird that it's being reported as a failure to send due to no recipients though. |

Are you running with multiple thread instances? Might be a timing issue. |
