Here is the way of the poor:
Run your update as usual redirecting the output into a file.
Check the file using cat -n | grep AMQ | grep -v AMQxxx (success code).
You'll get the list of failures and the line # in the log file. Should be a breeze to find which object and why from there. Of course this should be only an exceptional occurrence.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

The design point of ms03 was that it's output is to be applied to a fresh qmgr. _________________ -wayne |

Maybe I'm being simple minded, but if you are defining all the objects on the DR QMGR, then delete and recreate the QMGR every time before you run the script. |

With the --resetChannels option. _________________ -wayne |

Of course, if you have any MQ cluster memberships involved, you will have issues as the QMID will get generated at each create. So, ponder the linear logging and playing the logs forward on the DR as a standby QMGR. |

elikatz, While you explore all possible ways of how to achieve this, you must also explore how you can control such a fluid setup. Apply some change control procedure and record changes.
Because in the current setup, though you are replicating setup from Prod to DR every night, you would still be not sure if your DR can smoothly replace Prod in case of a disaster.[/b] _________________ Regards
