Hello,

I have a question concerning WebSphere MQ internet pass-thru, v2.
I have read the docs and searched this forum trying to find out if the following config is supported, MQ<-->IPT1<-->IPT2<-->MQ where the communication between the two IPT is using HTTP.

If this is supported, how do I configure...? if i use MQ all works fine.
Maybe there has to be a proxy between IPT1 and IPT2?

Thanks,

Thats what IPT does ...

MQ SVR - IPT - HTTP - IPT - MQ SVR.

Are you saying that it doesn't work? What have you tried?

Hello,
My question is if I can have the setup MQ<-->IPT1<-->IPT2<-->MQ and not going through an HTTP proxy like MQ<-->IPT1<-->HTTP proxy<-->IPT2<-->MQ

When I try without specifying an HTTP proxy in IPT1, using config like:
[route]
Name=Test1
ListenerPort=1415
Destination=xxx.xxx.xxx
DestinationPort=1418
OutgoingPort=0
HTTP=true

I get:
MQCPE042 There is a conflict with the following properties on route 1415 :
MQCPE045 ....HTTP proxy or server name is missing
MQCPE048 Route startup failed on port 1415, exception was : IPTException: closeI
d=, closeMsg=MQCPE056 Conflict with route properties, rc=0

Thanks,

Ah but you left http=true in your config.
You can use MQ<->IPT<->IPT<->MQ but the protocol will be MQ and not http.

Have fun
