If i do have a Process P (say having input/output data structure DS1 ).
This process has 2 activities A1,A2 which have the same data structure i.e. DS1, as the i/p as well as output data containers.
Now i needed to confirm whether the data containers for the PROCESS will be created at runtime.
i.e. in all i get a total of 6 data containers(4 for the activites, 2 for the Process) during runtime.
Also what i needed to know whether dynamic resolution will increase/decrease the DB size(this question is really specific, since i assume if used propely dynamic assignment decreases the DB size..)
Please advice.
Regards,

It is my opinion that there are 6 containers created when the instance is instantiated.

I may not understand your question completely. But for sure the size of the DB has to increase during staff resolution because workitems are created. During dynmaic staff resoulution it could create 1, 2 or 20 workitems. The only time where there might not be any increase in DB size is when no workitem is created in the case of an Automatic activity _________________ John McDonald
