I am running WMQ 7.0.1 and WMB 7 on AIX.

I have about 10 clients reading and writing to JMS queues

I also have maxchannels set to 1000

The qmgr is running and the listener is started and running.

On some of the clients (but not others), I get the following error:

Code:

I do not understand why some clients can connect to the qmgr and others can not

Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this ?

Thanks

Can some of the clients connect sometimes and other times not? Or is it that some clients can never connect but others can?

Check that the user has adequate access to the objects. And also check whether they are connecting to the right port.

Turned out to be a bad network connection (coming up and down at random)

Thanks
