Hi ,
I have a flow in which i am using Timeout Control and Timeout notification node. My flow writes file to directry using Fileoutput node.
If any new file generated to put in the ouput directory, my Timout notification node will trigger in 20sec and close it.
Problem is if the suport team wants to redeploy the flow or stop the flow, files which are not closed will be corrupted.
So i want a solution to decrease the timelimit to 1sec or forceful closing of the files outside broker.
Is it possible to override the values i have supplied in my flow with a new value externally?
Or any other solution for this during maintenence work ?
Regards,

Is there no way you can use a message to achieve the same, something that can form part of the stop scripts/process that are used by your support guys. Without knowing full details of your flow I am thinking of an MQ Input that will close off any files that are being processed with associated decision logic to determine this is a "STOP" message.

Hi Rob,
I think i need to modify my flow which closes all the files immediately which are open just before maintenance. The advantage is am using cache to store all the open files.
Thnaks for ur suggestions Rob.
