What are the installation prerequisites (e.g. PATH,CLASSPATH, authorisations etc. ) to install this node on an AIX V2.1 broker?
The command instaix does not seem to start the install GUI:
prompt>instaix
InstallShield Wizard
Initializing InstallShield Wizard Installer...
Searching for Java(tm) Virtual Machine...
.........
prompt>

Consequently - and not surprisingly - I get and error from deploy i.e.
'LIL not found for message flow node type 'ComIbmXslMqsiNode' in message flow....'

(The node works fine on NT4 & W2000)

You will need to make sure that you have a XWindows session set up

including setting you DISPLAY variable correctly before running the command

i.e. logon to you AIX box using XWindows software (like Hummingbird)

run

DISPLAY=your.IP.address:0

then run instaix
