I have just imported a cobol copybook into WMQI 2.1 (CSD03). The log indicates that the import was successful - all values, elements etc were created. However, I am unable to view anything in the Control Center, which is running on a different machine to the ConfigMgr (both NT).

Is this a case of not being able to access the remote Message Repository DB, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Any help would be appreciated .

I think the key thing here is that you need to add the message to your Control Centre workspace.
The COBOL import facility creates the messages in the message repository database, these will not automatically be available in your workspace... Use the Add to Workspace options from the Message Sets view.
