We added a new structure to the coupling facility. I've added the new structure to the queue sharing group. I can define a queue to the structure, but when I try to use it, I get a 2192. What else do I need to do? _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

Given what a 2192 is, I can think of at least one quick fix.....
I've no idea why this would happen for a queue in a QSG but not for a normal queue similarly defined. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

This should not involve pagesets, as it is in the coupling facitlity. What is it you are trying to say? _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

Queues in a QSG still require local storage according to their storage class for the messages that a given queue manager is trying to process. AFAIK the messages might queue up in the shared space, but still act like normal messages when picked up.
Perhaps it you were a little more explict about when the error comes out (in terms of commands issued or MQI call being made) than it happens "when I try and use it".... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It turned out to be a non-issue (kind of). I ran another job and it worked just fine, so either something is wrong with the queue definition in the first job, or the mqput step. Either way, there is no problem with the cfstruct and it seems to be working fine. _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

Or something elsewhere read some messages off a queue in the same storage class as the queue you were working on, and freed some space in the page set. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
