Yes I know it is an out of date product and yes I know not many people use it etc but I thought I would post thsi problem here as I am not sure myself on how to handle this.
Scenario
Currently have messahes coming in as fixed string with delimiters etc this is mapped to an xml format message and then processed. No worries with all this
I know form experience that the business objects are set to definitions and they are pretty well set in stone.
Problem
A new requirement will be needed where by the incoming message will be in xml with certain fixed fields. One of these fields will contain a numeric value
This value will state amount of items to be processed. So further down the tree we will have a series of fields repeated with details of the items
Think of this as an invoice with multiple entries within
Now I know that when I create a business object within WBISE I define it in a certain manner ie the fields that are to be mapped to the data, what I ma not sure about is this case whereby the incoming message may have 5 sets of data or 6 or 2 or 1 or however.
How do I define a business object like this?
many thanks _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard drive?
