Some messages leave in my local queue.I use MQ sample code amqsget which I have modified the getting buffer to get the message from this local queue. And I am sure that no more IPPROCESS and OPPROCES in this queue. But it leaves only one message there, whether I use any oter way to get or clear it ,it always there. Some thing strange for it if I use amqsbcg to browse this queue,it shows no more message. Why?somebody can tell me something wrong? Thanks....

Greetings,

Messages can stay on a queue if they have expired.
When you use the browse command it will delete any expired messages.

Best Rgds

If you run amqsbcg against the queue, the expired message should go away after it runs. How do you know that you have a message on your queue? Are you looking at the curdepth? Have you looked at it before and after running amqsbcg to see if it removes an expired message? One other thing that can 'show' a message on your queue that you can't get is a message that is part of a UOW that hasn't been committed. Could this be your problem?

I have resolved the problem...
I must stop channel mode(FORCE) to ensure the client side channel has stop totally...
Then I can browsed the message what I could not browse but can displayed it in queue curdepth..
I thought that it was a bug of client ap , when it get a queue but has no commint action...
