How the requestor channel will be started? Is that triggered by some initiation queue?

Also the requestor channel is Bi-directional? (i.e) the message sent from remote server will be received through requestor?

Thanks,
Sarathi

You need to read the "Intercommunication" manual (see the links on this page to get to the Info Center).

It can be started by an administrator or the sender or server channel can start it by sending messages to it.

Most configurations would have the sender or server channel start it by being triggered by messages landing the the XMITQ that goes with it.

All channels are bi-directional to control the flow, but the messages only go in one direction. SVRCONN are the only exception to this.

Triggering is bound to a queue and for channels it is only possible on the sending side.
You cannot really control a channel on the receiving side(also not with a requester), it is only possible to request a start of the channel, stopping is the same as stopping a receiver, the sender starts retrying and fills the AMQERR-log with error messages.
