Hi,

The default location of Shared Classes folder is
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IBM\MQSI\shared-classes".
But i dont find this folder in my system. There is one folder
"C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1\classes".
Are these the same?

I want to place my jar files in shared classes folder. Wher do i place them? Please help.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\IBM\MQSI\shared-classes

exists in my TP with WMB 6.1 ...

pls recheck...

C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1\classes is used by WMB internally... DO NOT put your jars there

The default location for the Shared classes location is just that. Default.

And in fact, what the default (and unchangeable) location is, is <broker-workpath>/shared-classes.

So if you created your Broker with a separate workpath than the default workpath of C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application Data\IBM\MQSI, then shared-classes will be somewhere else.

Also, thirdly, the default workpath is different on Vista than on XP or Server 2003.

Oddly enough, this fact is documented.

Which environment variable do you expect to contain the broker workpath?

MQSI_WORKPATH is the environment variable.

However, have you considering simply deploying your JAR files using standard broker deployment tools? Just put them inside your BAR file.
