I have installed the webphere message broker 6.1, including IBM webphere MQ, IBM software development platform, IBM DB2. The following services can be seen in windows service list:
IBM MQSeries, IBM WebSphere Message Broker component DatabaseInstanceMgr6,IBM WebSphere Message Broker component WBRK61_DEFARLT_BROKER,IBM WebSphere Message Broker component WBRK61_DEFAULT_CONFIGURATION_MANAGER.
Creating the Default Configuration successful by clicking "Start the Default Configuration wizard". Then I validate the WMB setup by Pager samples. First clicking "Set up the Pager samples", this step no error occured. Problemes occured while clicking the "Run the Pager samples"->"Start the Text Messaenger and Pager applications". The following is the exception infor:
Exception occured while BIP0932E communicate with configuration manager of WBRK61_DEFAULT_QUEUE_MANAGER.
Reason:
Problemes occured while Pager commnicates with configuration manager of <missing argument>.
MQJE001: finished code is 2, reason is 2085. |

Moving it to the Broker forum...
MQRC 2085 - MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME
Something is missing, so the Pager samples may not have been set up correctly. Hopefully someone with more detailed knowledge will be along in a bit.
