I just put a single QMGR under MSCS control - I can move the resource group from one node to another. However, I created a local queue and put some test messages on it. These messages display in MQ Explorer and M071 for this queue. But after moving the resource group (containing Shared drive, VIP, QM) to another node in the cluster this queue is displayed with zero depth. Any ideas? |

The messages were non persistent Or they expired. Or they were consumed by an app. _________________ Peter Potkay

Peter. Thanks! Of course. I knew they weren't consumed by an app and I knew they hadn't expired, but like an 'id**t' I forgot to make the queue persistent. I'm so sorry to have bothered you. |

And remember that queues are not persistent, messages are.
So forget about the queue, have the sending app make the messages persistent _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
