When an application is triggered the context that the application runs under is the context of the trigger monitor, by default this is the 'SYSTEM' id. Is there a way around this? _________________ Jason Adams

If you are talking about runmqtrm, the program will run with the context of the user who started it.
If you are talking about the trigger monitor defined as a MQ Series service, then yes it runs with the system context (or the context defined in the MQ Series service).
If you want to be independent of the context of the trigger monitor and define your own context, you can use the "contact admin" command which lets you run a program using a specified user. (I have never tested this option but I suppose it should work)
