For verion 5.2, according to MQ Programming Guide, triggering
is not supported on Windows NT. Is there anyway to work around?

Thanks.

That is not true. Are you sure it didn't say "MQSeries for Windows"? This is a different beast - now called MQ EveryPlace.

"Triggering is not supported on MQSeries for Windows."- Programming Guide. No specific mention of WindowsNT.

Thanks

If it didn't mention either NT or 2000 then the docs are not referring to MQ Server edition for Windows NT/2000.

A long time ago, IBM created a version of MQSeries for laptops called "Leaf-Node". i.e. partial queue manager support for when you were away from the office (or disconnected). They renamed it to "MQSeries for Windows". This created a lot of confusion with the MQ server edition.

Again IBM renamed it to MQSeries Everyplace and finally renamed it to WebSphere MQ Everyplace.

So, the bottom line is that the docs are not referring to the normal MQSeries for Windows NT/2000 (server edition).

Hope that helps.
