I am working as Java developer from about 2 and half years..Can anyone pls suggest me good books/Materials/Sites for learning MQ from basics..?

start with the available mqseries documentation. see that infocenter link above? the mq documents are also available for download at ibms internet pages. of course there are also some redbooks, but in most cases they cover special parts of mq (except mqseries primer).

You can also look at any of the JMS tutorials.
The sun one is quite good.
Remember that in order to work you need also the provider's jars... In this case MQ provides you with all the jars you need. You can write a J2EE app / client or a JMS stand alone....
