I'm interested to know if someone has implemented WMQI with Oracle.
The issue includes the following aspects :
1. Using Oracle as application database with WMQI.
2. Using Oracle as Broker and Message Repository database.
3. Using Oracle as NEON database.
4. Problems that are relevant only to Oracle.

Also does someone using already DB2 8.1 with WMQI ?
The benefits with the new version ?

I used as broker and application database with no problem.

2. Using Oracle as Broker and Message Repository database.

Only as the broker database. The Message Repository and the Configuration Manager database must be DB2.

3. Using Oracle as NEON database.

Why are you interested in using NEON the the TDS format? But also works with no problem.

I think db2 8.1 is not supported at this moment by WMQI, at least csd4.

Cheers,

Yes. Oracle 8.1.7 as broker database and application database. BTW, I think oracle9 is supported in csd3.

Cheers,
