Hi,
What is the port number for Websphere MQ Explorer V7.0 Client?I am using the client software to connect to the remote server on the solaris system. I need to make sure that the port number is open as we are outside the firewall.

Whatever it's been set to be the WMQ admin for that queue manager. The Explorer uses the same principles for client connection as any other application.

You have to use the port # of the Qmgr.

Firewall should allow message transmission for the port configured at remote queue manager.
