Hi
I try to run save queue manager on a remote qmgr.
I have locally allocated an alias queue manager, i.e. an xmit q with the same name as the remote qmgr. I also have a sender channel and a corresponding receiver one on the remote side.
Now, I type
saveqmgr -r WMS1421T -f test.mqsc
Reply:

Compiled for Websphere MQ V7.0 on Mar 26 2009
SAVEQMGR V6.1.2
Requesting attributes of the queue manager...
< then a long wait. Then:>
(mqutils.c) No reply msg, make sure command server is started (strmqcsv qmgr-name)
---
The command server IS running. The xmit queue is empty.
What am I doing wrong?

You likely don't have a proper route BACK from the remote qmgr.
Look for messages on the remote qmgr DLQ. |

Yeah, there it was, on the remote qmgr DLQ.
But, how do I set up the route back? |

Examine the Reason Code in the Dead-letter header, and correct for it... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
