This being the last day of the month, I will rate the answers.
Sorry mqjeff does not get any points due to his vast seniority as his alter ego... Long live the grand high Poobah.

I would have to declare AkankshA the winner for the most detailed steps with a more than honorable mention to exerc for his early answers and his effort....

As a recap I understand the steps we should have taken in the sequence they should have been taken to be: (next to it you'll find some comments. I believe this is why we eperienced the problems we had...
  1. Change all PRs in B to have the FR in B as primary FR (was not done in this order)
  2. Change the PR's in C to have the FR in B as a primary FR (was not done in this order)
  3. make the FR's in A PR's (was omitted)
  4. shutdown A
  5. move A (swing system is running on B and C)
  6. restart A in C
  7. change the channels on ex A boxes to match the new config in C
  8. promote the 2 FR's now in C to FR's again (was not needed see 3)
  9. done

I guess she needed another one of those world famous mugs ? , they are bound to become an expensive collector's item in due time.

ps for all : good new challenge questions arrive rarely lately, this is why we only run the Challenge when juicy questions are submitted by Candidate Challengers.
