When utilizing the mq tool mqauth52 (a perl script), the script complete successfully but the authorization commands are not created, has anyone ran into this issue? ./mqauth52

Usage: mqauth52 -m QMGR_NAME [-s -f file_name ] */
#* -m QMGR_NAME specify queue manager to query (required) */
#* -s generate script file (name = QMGR_NAME.oam) */
#* -f file_name output script file name */
#*

Arw01,

You didn't indicate what OS environment you were having this problem in but in Windows you can use the AMQOAMD program to output MQ permissions to a file. I haven't verified this approach in UNIX but I would expect similar results. Details on AMQOAMD syntax are available in the "General MQSeries Support" forum. Specifically:
