Guys,
I am trying to set up monitoring in Message Broker.
Here's my details:
O/S - Win XP
Broker Toolkit version - 6.1.0.3 (Build id: 6.1.0.3-IFix003-20090305_1223)
Broker runtime - MQSI 6.1.0.3
I have done the following so far:
1. Configure the monitoring properties on the flow 'cis.services.soap.response.subCustIdChgRs_v3', node MQInput
Properties:
Event Source - Transaction start
Event Source Address - CIS.KD.CUSTIDCHG.RES.transaction.start
Event Name (literal) - CIS.KD.CUSTIDCHG.RES.TransactionStart
Event Payload - $Root
2. Run Command:
mqsichangeflowmonitoring CISBRK2 -e enterprise -c active -f cis.services.soap.response.subCustIdChgRs_v3
3. Create Subscription with RFHUtil with the following details:
Request Type - Sub
Topic(s) - "$SYS/Broker/CISBRK2/Monitoring/enterprise/cis.services.soap.response.subCustIdChgRs_v3"
Queue Manager connected to - "TSTBRK7"
Queue Name - "SYSTEM.BROKER.CONTROL.QUEUE"
Subscription Queue Manager - "TSTBRK7"
Subscription Queue - "TEST.IN"
4. Run Command:
mqsireportflowmonitoring CISBRK2 -e enterprise -f cis.services.soap.response.subCustIdChgRs_v3 -n
...and this is where I am stuck...
What next,
what can I expect to see and where,
can i get events on the TEST.IN queue?
I worked through the post :
http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=48637&highlight=monitoring
...but at the interesting part of the post Kimbert goes private...
Thanks in advance

if you configured it properly, you could see the events in TEST.IN Queue _________________ Regards

Yes, apologies for that. I normally insist that people stay public, or at least post what the solution was, but I slipped up there.
FYI, Base went silent too. I don't know whether/how the issue got resolved.

I presume that the output looked correct. You didn't say either way.
Have you taken a user trace yet? Did you find BIP3912, indicating that events are actually being generated?

When you put a message through your flow, you should expect to find on TEST.IN an XML message representing a transaction.Start event. |
