Hi, everybody.
MQ server v6.0 installed just now can not display local qmgrs created by MQSC.
But can be found by 'dspmq'.
It can only be added to mq explorer in client connection mode, not direct connection mode.
How can mq explorer display all of local qmgrs in direct connection mode? |

I've installed fix pack 6.0.2.5.
The problem remains.

Either MQExplorer is broken or your user does not have the security privileges you think it has. |

The user 'mqm' is created by default when MQ install.
I don't change anything about it.
How can I check the security privilege? |

... what platform are you on? Linux? On linux, the "mqm" user is *not* created automatically, and on windows "mqm" is not a User, it's a Group.
What user are you logged in as? What mqm priviledges does that user have?
If you are using Windows, did you *reboot* after doing the MQ install? |

My platform is Linux(REHL 4.2).
And after installation, I can find 'mqm'. And I reboot OS logged in as 'mqm', qmgrs can not be found in Explorer yet. |

Are the local libraries (*.a or *.so) for bindings connection on the library path for the user mqm?
Check out the manual about setting the right Java property with the -D switch.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
