Hi Expert's
while i am implementing ssl ,i got the fallowing error in mq error logs
4/30/2004 13:02:42 - Process(3040. User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqrmppa.exe)
AMQ6090: WebSphere MQ was unable to display an error message 20809632.
EXPLANATION:
MQ has attempted to display the message associated with return code hexadecimal
'20809632'. The return code indicates that there is no message text associated
with the message. Associated with the request are inserts 0 : 0 : ???? : : .
ACTION:
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem
identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support

4/30/2004 13:02:42 - Process(3040. User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqrmppa.exe)
AMQ9637: Channel is lacking a certificate.
EXPLANATION:
The channel is lacking a certificate to use for the SSL handshake. The channel
name is '????' (if '????' it is unknown at this stage in the SSL processing).
The channel did not start.
ACTION:
Make sure the appropriate certificates are correctly configured in the key
repositories for both ends of the channel.
If you have migrated from WebSphere MQ V5.3 to V6, it is possible that the
missing certificate is due to a failure during SSL key repository migration.
Check the relevant error logs. If these show that an orphan certificate was
encountered then you should obtain the relevant missing certification authority
(signer) certificates and then import these and the orphan certificate into the
WebSphere MQ V6 key repository, and then re-start the channel.

Did you properly setup the ssl?
Mention the steps that you followed. Was that migration or new SSL configuration? _________________ Regards

If you read the error you might well know the problem.

I'd say your configuration is flawed. Just a guess. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
