Hi,
We are planning to move our Configuration manager (which is in windows) from V5 to V6. I never worked before with V6. there is no concept of DB2 in V6 i believe... can anybody help me with do's and dont's.
1) we have set of brokers running on a unix box. Brokers are currently connected with the V5 configuration mgr in windows
2) we have updated DB2 backup. this backup should be used for V6 or we have to create all channels from scratch? if yes will the new config mgr come to know about the flows which are running?

Don't confuse WMB & WMQ concepts. If the new config mgr is using the same queue manager as the old one did, all the channels linking it with the broker's queue manager will still be there.
The new config mgr will come to know about the flows when you migrate them from v5 to v6 (which as you say doesn't use DB2 for config mgr). You'll find information in this and all other aspects here.
