Hi all,
I would like to check this option.
Is it possible to install MQ version 6 on a Linux cluster?
Thanks... |

Have you read any documentation that suggests it isn't possible (or for that mater suggests it is possible).
Any reference to the documentation you have read will help narrow down the options.
Also which Linux clustering technology are you talking about? And which version of Linux?
PS. I don't really know anything about Linux clustering, but I'm sure that information will help those people that do answer your question _________________ Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. |

I've started reading the documentation but didn't find anything conclusive yet.
We want to install it on RedHat cluster to work active passive. |

We tried. We gave up and moved to VCS on Linux and its working fine. The MC91 Support Pack has a VCS MQ Agent.
RHEL Clustering does not have an MQ Agent, MC91 does not have a MQ Agent for RHEL Cluster, and we didn't have the time to invent that wheel. _________________ Peter Potkay

is there any step by step document for installing MQ over VCS cluster?
