Hi!
Is it possible to add an Initial Context to a third-part JMS provider?
For example i want to be able to acces JMS queues on an BEA Weblogic server or JBoss?
I have tryed and tryed, maybe it is just for JMS objects defined in WMQ?

IIRC you can do this.
1) Right click on JMS Adminstered Objects select: Add Initial Context..
2) Select "Other"
3) Specify the factory class and add all the required jar files, then the appropriate provider URL
That should then connect to the JNDI provider and get a list of the objects back. Now you won't be able to do anything with them if they are not MQ objects, but you should at least be able to browse you provider.
As implied this must be a JNDI namespace, you cannot browse objects stored in JMX or other types of repository if they do not provide a JNDI interface.
Also getting the jar files and factory class right will be fun  try checking for FDCs written (if you are on a server install) which might help in getting it right.

Oh, just to note that I have the explorer installed by no other JNDI provider to test it with, so I cannot be any help other than explaining how I think it should work

Oki thx for the input, ive been trying and im sure that i set my parameters right it just ends that the JNDI lookup just hangs and i have to destroy MQ explorer...
However if i cant do anything with the "objects" there no need to get this working..
Cant get IS02 to work either...
