Hi all.
We have a SUN Solaris with MQSeries 5.2 that suddenly stopped working.

Anyone out there who help me understand this message in the FDC file?

Check the kernel configuration if it was updated for MQ prerequisites.

The '5' in the arith1 field indicated you are getting a permission
denied error on a system call, which looks like a rename.
A good candidate would be a rename on one of the error logs.
Take a look at all the AMQERR**.LOG files under /var/mqm
and make sure the owner is mqm:mqm and that mqm has read and write permissions on these files.

Hi all,

This problem was solved..among other things the disc was corrupted.
Solution to the problem was a reinstall all.
