Hi,
I want to test MQ bind mode .
For this i want queue and queue manager. But, i am unable to create queue and queue manager on local server
Is it possible to create queue and queue manager on websphere6.0
I am very new to MQ |

I guess by websphere u mean Websphere application server....
you need to hv MQ installation separately and create Queue Manager n Queue in that...

WebSphere Application Server 6.0 and later does not come with WebSphere MQ.
WebSphere Application Server v5.x came with an Embedded Messaging Provider that was more or less WebSphere MQ (mostly less).
WebSphere Application Server v6.0 and later comes with SIBus JMS Messaging Engine, that is written entirely in Java and is not anything like WebSphere MQ at all.
WebSphere is a brand name, not the name of a product.
If you want to work with WebSphere MQ, you must install and configure WebSphere MQ.
If you want us to provide you free training on this, you will be disappointed. |
