Hi There,

Could anyone tell me if there are any advantages of using two MQServers over Client/Server.

Thanks in advance.

Tom

One of the main advantages is that of store and forward - if using 2 mqseries servers and one is temporarily unavailable then the messages can be held until the server is back up. I don't beleive this is possible in client / server connections.

security is another thing - with 5.3 you have data encryption between the servers - again I don't beleive this is supported in a client / server environment
