Good afternoon,

I modified a copy of the amqsmon.c sample code so that it pulls from an alternate queue than SYSTEM.ADMIN.STATISTICS.QUEUE.

Unfortunately I am running into issues compiling the new code.

The command used was:

gcc -m64 -shared -o mfs_stat_monitor mfs_stat_monitor.c -L/opt/mqm/lib64 -lmqm -l mqmcs -l mqz -lmqic -lmqiz -lmqmcs -fPIC

It compiles without error but I get a seg fault when I try to run the newly created executable.

Does anyone know how to get around this issue?

use the right compile/link command
i am sure you do not want both the server and client libs
the manual will give the right command
