Hi,
I want to clone all incoming messages in a queue to another queue or a flat file. Every incoming message should be copied to another queue or a file and stay at the queue until a program gets the message.
In other words a Y connection is required. 1 input and 2 outputs. A message put in the queue should be available on both outputs. If the message is red on one output the message still has to be available on the other output.
The aim is to reinsert the message to a queue manually if necessary (application error,crash,...), so browsing of the messages would be good.
I know there a couple of tools like ma01 but as far as I understand these tools they not provide the solution, and I strongly prefer a solution which can be automated.
Hope you can help me.
Cheers

There is a mirrorq exit (caveat emptor on that one), qload SupportPac could do it from a shell script/batch file (from a single feeder queue?), or go to V7 and use the queue-level pub/sub facility now available. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
