We are going to be ramping up on our WPS environments in the not too distant future, one concern that we have is having multiple environments, ie dev/qa on the same server and how we will handle code moves. In our current ICS world, we cannot have multiple environments on one machine because the connector agents specify the queue manager within the code. So the developers would have to change code when moving the code to qa, because we can't have 2 ics servers connecting to the same queue manager. So we separate environments by OS's. It would be more desirable to be able to host multiple environments on the same OS.

My question is within WPS, are the endpoint or connecting applications part of the code or are they configurations with WPS itself?

Thanks,
Dave
