When V7 went GA I uninstalled V7 Beta and installed the GA V7. Now I no longer have the V7 Beta Labs. How can I obtain these labs?

What labs? Are you referring to your queue managers?

The WMQ 7.0 managed Beta program included access to class presentations and laboratory exercise materials. These weren't shipped with the product so I'm not sure how they would have been deleted by uninstalling WMQ 7.0 Beta.

Roger,

I used to have access to lab exercises which were designed for practice with the new features of 7.0. Included were labs for Explorer administered JMS objects, asynch get/put, and the new and improved pub/sub.

I apologize for this post. Snooping around, I found the labs (which are PDFs) on my flash drive. For your info, the labs include:

an install lab
JMS setup
pub/sub admin
pub/sub security
API
API Asynch lab

I found these labs to be very helpful, especially for the new Explorer JMS Admin features and the new Explorer pub/sub admin features. Asynch get/put are also extremely interesting for those clients who cannot afford to have a process or thread blocked on an infinite wait get

Hi,

Interesting. I never noticed that WMQ V7 beta had Lab Exercises.

Any material from the MANAGED BETA (not the Open one) would have been provided under NDA terms.
