Hi,
- MQSeries documentation says that the only compilers available for -WebSphere MQ applications on Solaris clients are C and C++;
- means that Client application must only be written with the C language?

Exactly where in the documentation did you read the statement? I would say that you could have a C or C++ client. In addition, you could write your program in java(jms) and have it act as a client. I also thought that there was a Cobol compiler available on Solaris.
