Hi,
I am trying to find out what different kind of errors can occuer in MQSeries and MQSI V2 environment and how to handle them.

Hi Kirani,
If you want to look at mqseries errors go through error files AMQERRO which is at installation directory like c:mqmerrors(depends where you install).If you want to look at QManager related errors then c:mqmqmgrsQManagerNameerrors.MQsystem related errors c:mqmqmgrs@systemerrors.
Some time we have to look at windows Event Viewer.
For MQSI you can look at mqsiadminstration guide to trace message flows.

On HP-UX 11, these directories are
/var/mqm/errors - look for .LOG files here. You can get the latest one using ls -ltr.
/var/mqm/qmgrs/[qm name]/errors - look for .LOG files here. You can get the latest one using ls -ltr.

There's also an MQSeries manual which lists all of the error codes at www-4.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/library/manualsa/amqzao02/amqzao02tfrm.htm.
You'll probably have to cut and paste the URL as it's pretty long. |
