Is there any relatively easy way to determine whether a date falls during a daylight savings time period or not?
We have to convert GMT to local times using a timezoneoffset value for dates that fall in the future. However, there are occassionally those dates that will fall in or out of the daylight/nondaylight savings time, which will require us to adjust the timezoneoffset value.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we might do this without having to hard code the cutoff dates each year?
